The third annual Flaunt event, held by local designer Stacey Bafi-Yeboa, will take place on the rooftop of the National Arts Centre on June 29th from 7 PM – 12 AM.
This edition of Flaunt is called ‘The Pre – Party’ – kicking off Canada Day weekend in style, said an organizer of the event.
Attendees will be pampered by some of Ottawa’s salons and cosmetic stores. After guests get dolled up they can peruse through racks of products by designers: Rachel Sin, Frash, Pish Posh, Dylan Ribkoff, mizdragonfly & Demu Label and Vanity’s Closet.
Prizes have been donated by Arc The Hotel, Via Rail, The Smoque Shack, Bridgehead, Vintners Selection, Absolute Comedy, Sun of A Gun, Cherry Blossom Pole, Voulez Vous Boudoir, Moksha Yoga, The Tea Party, Ottawa Magazine, and Murale are up for grabs.
Guests will feast on treats from Lone Star and The Flour Shoppe, as well as The Candy Bar, which will provide a huge candy spread.
Bafi-Yeboa is the designer of Kania, which will feature a special limited edition sparkle line at the event. The proceeds of this line will go to Helene Campbell and the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, in honour of Helene’s sparkling personality, according to organizers.
