The Foyer Gallery Presents Conversations, featuring four women artists

 Foyer Gallery and Presents CONVERSATIONS, in language of colour, texture, line and form, between four women artists.

The event will feature Elisabeth Arbuckle, Margaret Chwialkowska, Jennifer Foster, and Katrin Smith.

Elisabeth Arbuckle explores the beauty of pattern and line, creating images that reflect our connection to nature, lives, and circumstances; finding and illustrating the rhythms in life through figurative and abstract imagery. 

Margaret Chwialkowska invites you to experience Magic Hour, the time prior to dusk when the sun hovers in the sky and transforms the landscape into a surreal environment, when the colour has the power to transcend reality, spark curiosity and expand the possibilities of our imaginations.

Jennifer Foster captures moments of conversation in everyday life, exchanges between people, internal dialogues that take place in moments of solitude, and nonverbal conversations, when ideas are exchanged without the need for words. 

Katrin Smith captivates viewers with her mixed media abstract paintings through the creative alchemy of texture and line and entices them to experience her paintings from both a visual and tactile perspective.

CONVERSATIONS will run from April 24 to May 12, open Wednesday to Friday from 3:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from  11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Opening Reception will be on Sunday, April 28, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Nepean Sportsplex, 1701 Woodroffe Avenue, Entrance 1.
