While the weather outside may be frightful, we’ve got a cocktail recipe that’s absolutely delightful! A holiday staple, eggnog is a must-have throughout the winter season. In front of the fire, shared with friends and family, or as a nightcap, the Appleton Estate Eggnog is a delicious treat to help defeat those winter blues.
APPLETON ESTATE EGGNOG
GLASS: Rocks Glass
GARNISH: Cinnamon Stick
1 heaping tsp. brown sugar
1 -2 dashes Angostura® aromatic bitters
1 full egg
2 oz. apple cider
2 oz. Appleton Estate Reserve Jamaica Rum
Add ice and shake hard for 20 seconds. Strain into large chilled rocks glass or brandy
snifter and grate nutmeg and cinnamon on the top of the drink.
