Traveling is such a beautiful thing. To see and to experience unknown culture is a definite learning experience — such picture perfect sights can be absolutely breathtaking. The only problem is being able to afford this luxurious experience as well as being able to afford taking time off work. Well, forget all that hassle for now! This weekend (April 4 and 5), you will have the opportunity to travel the world in just one day.
How, do you ask? The 20th Annual Travel and Vacation show will be providing 200 travel and vacation exhibits at the Ottawa Convention Centre! Don’t miss out on asking tour operators, travel agencies and resort staff questions on where to go and when to plan your next luxurious vacation! Also take advantage of the free informative travel seminars and exclusive promotions available only at the show.
Exhibitors from Europe, Africa, Asia, America (NY, Maine, Vermont, Virginia, South Carolina, New Hampshire, Florida, Texas) and the Caribbean will all be present. There will be a wide range of locations that will meet just about anyone’s needs, whether you enjoy sunbathing, skiing, ancient architecture or exotic honeymoon options.
The show’s culinary tourism focus continues to grow. Chefs will be visiting from Aruba, Greece and Korea to satisfy your cravings as they present their delicacies in the demonstration kitchen.
Information about cruises will be available as well, ranging from the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Transatlantic, Alaska and many river cruises, including: AMA Waterways, Avalon River Cruises, Carnival Cruise Lines, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Nova Star Cruises, Princess Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Scenic Tours & Cruises and Viking River Cruises.
Make your way to the Ottawa Convention Centre located at 55 Colonel By Drive on Saturday or Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $10 and you will not regret fulfilling that wanderlust ache.
