Fleur du Cap is one of South Africa’s premier and well-known wines. The award-winning 2012 Chardonnay is available at LCBO locations now and OLM could not be more excited.

Fleur du Cap is a revolutionary creation, containing a premium collection of wines truly inspired by nature. Each wine is carefully crafted with minimalist approach in the cellar and a more contemporary style granted by the grapes themselves.

“We are confident that the abundant flavour and character of this award-winning varietal wine will resonate with wine aficionados across the province,” states Julia Gradwell, Distell Wines Brand Manager at PMA Canada Ltd. “We are happy to share the Fleur du Cap 2012 Chardonnay with consumers across Ontario.”

Fleur du Cap selectively takes advantage of only the finest vineyard sites and sun ripened grapes to produce its marvelous collection of wines.

The talk of the town is clearly the Fleur du Cap 2012 Chardonnay. What makes it so special is the balanced blend between sweetness and acidity.  It appears as a light, straw yellow colour with tints of green and gold–essentially liquid gold! On the nose, it shows delicate citrus notes with a hint of tropical fruit aromas.

Fleur du Cap can be enjoyed today or it can be given two to four years to reach its prime state of maturity.

It is said this wine pairs fabulous with rice fish dishes, mussels and oysters as well as cheeses, curries with cream sauces and rich chicken dinners.
