This Thursday, July 24, Nordstrom, Inc. will post 30 management positions for its upcoming new store at the Rideau Centre.
The store is scheduled to open March 6, 2015 and management hiring will begin in late August. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply for jobs at careers.nordstrom.com. Hiring for sales associate and support roles will begin in January 2015 as they are looking for 350 additional employees.
They are currently seeking management roles in all departments including men’s, women’s and kid’s apparel, shoes, accessories, cosmetics, as well as support positions in alterations, housekeeping, logistics and their restaurant and espresso bar.
Those selected for management positions will be asked to attend a cultural immersion program in Seattle to learn about company culture as well as hear from mentor managers and Nordstrom leaders. Housing, food and travel will be paid for by Nordstrom and the program will take place from October – December of this year.
Based in the U.S., this will be the second Nordstrom, Inc. store opened in Canada to continue in their reputation of being a leader in the fashion specialty retailer industry.
