Canadian Tire CentreDisney On Ice - 100 Years AnniversaryFeb. 24-28 (Assorted Times)
Disney on IceDisney On Ice is celebrating 100 Years of Magic with a tour! The awesome skating spectacle is coming to the Canadian Tire Centre from Wednesday February 24th to Sunday February 28th. The event will be interactive, with over fifty Disney and Disney Pixar Characters participating in the fun. Disney on Ice is an unforgettable experience for the whole family. Go and find your inner kid as you enjoy 100 Years of Disney.

Arts Court Theatre, Series Dance 10 #22 Face 2 FaceFebruary 24-27th (8:30PM)
The National Arts Centre and Ottawa Dance Directive co-present the Series Dance 10 #22 Face 2 Face. The dance series is choreographed by Daniel Linehan from Belgium and Joanne Kotze from the United States. The show brings out emotions and incorporates many important ideas while leaving room for thoughtful reflection. The New York Times says, "...this restless piece (is) formidable and strange: a run-on sentence for the body." Don't miss out on an opportunity to be transformed by the culture of dance. 

Ben2 (1)La Basoche à Gatineau, Ben Racine Band, Feb. 26 (8:00PM)
This Friday Ben Racine Band is playing in Gatineau. If you enjoy soulful and upbeat tunes that will have you dancing all night then this is the concert you will want to be attending. The band includes tenor and baritone sax, piano and organ, bass guitar, and the drums. The band has some award winning musicians that provide a fun and 50’s inspired atmosphere all night

Netflix not cutting it for you this weekend? Well how about trying some live theatre at Carleton U. A play put on by Sock'n'Buskin company called Rope will add needed excitement to these winter days. This show has murder, suspense, and it’s the thriller you have to see; plus tickets are only $5!

Ritual Nightclub, Young Empires and Banners, Feb. 26 (8:00/9:00PM)
It’s been a long week and all you want to do is cut loose, listen to some cool bands, and have a good time. You are in luck because this Friday night the Young Empires and the Banners from Liverpool, UK will be performing live at Ritual nightclub. Tickets are being sold for $15 and you can get yours online. You’ve earned this opportunity to have a fun Friday night so go on and enjoy it!

Canadian Museum of Nature, Nature Nocturne, Feb. 26 (8:00PM)
What could be more fun than visiting your favourite museum...only at night! The Canadian Museum of Nature is hosting  Nature Nocturne where you can explore the museum but this time it is during a big party. Drinks will be available to purchase as well and you can guarantee dancing, live performers including local band, The Hornettes, and of course, fossils! WARNING! that tickets are selling very fast!

Gatineau Congress Centre,  Salon Du Livre de L'Outaouais, Feb. 25-28 (4:00PM)
Salon du Livre is a great event to attend for anyone interested in literature. The event will be presented in French; a great opportunity to use your French skills while celebrating all kinds of literature. There are more than 100 activities set up and many special guests. The special guests include, Nicolas Dickner, Martin Michaud, Michele Matteau, Katia Canciani, Julie Huard and last but certainly not least, Marie Laberge. The event is a great opportunity to learn about and enjoy literary culture.

DSC_0188Mont-Bleu Highschool, Gatineau QC, Gatineau Loppet, Feb. 26-28 (Assorted Times)
The Gatineau Loppet is the biggest international cross country ski event in all of Canada! People come from all over the world to partake in the 2, 5, 10, 15, 27 and 51 km races over the weekend long event. Along with skiing, everyone can enjoy ski apparel shopping, professional action photos, a winter carnival, massages by Nordik Spa and much more. Put this winter weather to good use and embrace Canadian culture! Have fun skiing!
