Attention millennials. Easter weekend just got even more exciting with the announcement of “Millennial Mash-Up” — Ottawa’s very first marketplace event for millennials by millennials! Presented by local organization Market U and taking place at the city’s hot, new food hall Queen St. Fare, the event is set to feature over a dozen millennial-owned businesses and organizations showcasing and selling everything from organic, handmade bath products to jewellery!

With this generation’s wokeness about health, climate change and other global issues, almost all of the vendors will be selling enviro-friendly, health-conscious and ethically-produced products such as White Space Good’s cruelty-free and fully vegan soy candles, Shop My Style’s consigned clothing and accessories, and Soap2Hope’s ethical, plant-based soaps which benefit water sustainability and sanitation in Zambia.

Here are just a few of the confirmed booths so far:

  • LexiBooth
  • Golden Rose Boutique
  • Eva’s Bath Bomb Bakery
  • White Space Goods
  • Laani Life
  • Shop My Style by J&H
  • Birch Jewellery???????
  • Soap2Hope

Millennial Mash-Up is on Saturday, April 20 2019 from 10 AM to 4 PM at the Queen St. Fare and admission is free. Don’t miss out on this chance to support your fellow millennials and treat yourself to some of the hottest, new products and services! Check out the Market U website for a full list of vendors.
