Cycle Salvation

Located on the busy corner of Bronson and Gladstone, Cycle Salvation has been providing more than just quality handiwork, they focus on the people too. As a not-for-profit member of the Causeway Group of Social Businesses, Cycle Salvation offers staffing opportunities to those facing economic uncertainty and mental illness. Teaching the community how to care for their environmentally friendly transportation covers their three principles; people, profit, planet.

A quaint bike shop-meets-coffee house, this Westboro location is a powerhouse of top-name brands with a comfortable atmosphere. The boutique also houses inside rides that focus on improving cardio, aerobic function, and overall cycling performance. Re-Cycle

You may recognize this place as Cycle Salvation, but it’s the other side of the same community-based coin. Sharing the same location, Re-Cycle opens in the afternoon and stays busy until close with cyclists learning more about maintenance, repairs, and healthy lifestyles. This co-op is geared towards low-cost and recycled parts, but has become a hivemind for biking enthusiasts to meet-up and discuss everything cycling.
