City At Night - 222 Slater St.

City at Night has a sleek aesthetic and modern, hip vibe that is sure to have you and your friends on your feet all night long! The smaller space makes for a unique experience compared to larger, less intimate venues. They're known for hosting Ottawa's best promoters, artists and DJS, with live events almost every weekend, so don't miss out!

Mercury Lounge - 56 Byward Market Square

Mercury Lounge has not one, but two dance floors! What's especially great is that each floor plays different kinds of music, so there's something for everyone. Besides the great music and super talented DJs that the club features, they also host film screenings. Who would’ve thought movies and clubbing could go hand in hand?

Babylon - 317 Bank St.

If you're seeking a club that's laid back and casual, Babylon is the place for you. This Ottawa staple has been around for 20 years, so they have a good handle on what Ottawans love when it comes to nightlife entertainment. Known for good music and a really friendly atmosphere, we recommend you get there early because it's always packed!

Mavericks - 221 Rideau St.

Rock fans, Mavericks is the place for you to get your head bangin' on! This gem is Ottawa's prime spot for live rock, grunge and punk music. Barrymore’s Music Hall Ottawa - 323 Bank St.

If you are of the 80’s or 90’s generation, Barrymore’s is your go to spot. They are less club and more concert hall, so even if you’re shy to dance, you can just drop by to watch any of the various live acts on their beautiful stage. Over its 40 year history, Barrymore’s has hosted tons of local and major bands on its stage, making it one of Canada’s most important music venues. As an added bonus, they sometimes even play nostalgic 80’s shows on their big screen behind the stage!

The 27 Club - 27 York St.

The 27 Club took over the location of Zaphod Beeblebrox when it closed down in 2017, and it does not disappoint! It has quickly become a city favourite with its great drink selection and weekly live music shows. Also, keep an eye out on their Facebook page for announcements about their special themed nights that they sometimes host such as “Emo Night” and “Post Malone Night.”

The Lookout Bar - 41 York St.

The Lookout Bar is an Ottawa gem and has gained the reputation of being one of Ottawa’s best gay clubs over the 19 years it’s been around. The intimate club on York Street has a full bar of to-die-for drinks, the hottest music, and incredible weekly drag shows featuring Ottawa’s top drag queens. No matter your sexuality or gender, Lookout promises to offer you a night of freedom, fun and non-stop entertainment.

JunXion - 15 George St.

JunXion is another Ottawa staple. Targeted to the millennial crowd, the DJs spin a lot of current, radio hits, so if you often find yourself singing along to the Weekly Top 40 in your car, this is the place for you. Don’t feel like dancing or need a little break? No worries! JunXion is actually a bi-level club with the upstairs being a more laid back, lounge area for you to chat and enjoy a drink.

Club NVY - 295 Dalhousie St.

Club NVY is a gorgeous club located on trendy Dalhousie Street. Specializing in hip-hop, dancehall and top 40 hits, you will be on the dance floor from the moment you step into the club to the moment you leave.
