Shawarma Express is the place to be for affordable and savoury shawarma! The three-generational family owned spot located in the heart of the city is known for their sandwiches and of course their delish shawarma platters. Are you vegan or vegetarian? No worries, they have tons of great vegan and vegetarian options like falafel and veggie shawarma plates.

Shawarma Chef - 2012 Tenth Line Rd.

If you live or work in Orleans, you’re in luck because Shawarma Chef, located on Tenth Line Road, is known as one of Ottawa’s top shawarma spots. They offer six different shawarma platters, as well as various pita sandwiches and side dishes. The food is always plentiful, flavourful and fresh so don’t miss a chance to drop by!

Mango’s - 2682 Alta Vista Dr. & 1020 St. Laurent Blvd.

Mango’s has been serving the Ottawa region for over 20 years, and by how good their shawarma is, you can definitely tell they know what they’re doing. With two locations in the city, one on St. Laurent and one on Alta Vista, Mango’s is easily accessible wherever you are. We recommend their combo platter with their to-die-for banana avocado shake on the side!

3 Brothers Shawarma & Poutine - Various locations

3 Brothers is a Canadian-Lebanese fusion restaurant popular for their amazing poutine, but their shawarma definitely deserves the love too! With two Rideau locations and a location in Sandy Hill, 3 Brothers is always there when you’re craving high quality shawarma at a low price. They also have great donair which is essentially an East Coast-Canadian spin on a Lebanese shawarma wrap.

Lebanese Palace - 919 Industrial Dr.

Lebanese Palace is a sit-down restaurant and buffet, so this is perfect if you don’t want to sacrifice that shawarma craving for a nice date night! Their large dining area is spacious with classy decor, but still warm and home-y. You will die over their wood-fire warmed pita bread and melt-in-your-mouth tender beef!

Shawarma De Roza - 1896 Prince of Wales Dr.

Shawarma De Roza is an adorable family-owned spot that has been serving the Nepean community topnotch shawarma for quite some time now. Their menu is vast, ranging from various shawarma platters to dozens of appetizers like hummus and tabule. Their generous portions will keep you full and ensure you have some delicious leftovers for the next day!

Shawarma House - 836 March Rd.

If you’re in Kanata, Shawarma House should be your go to spot! The award-winning spot not only offers perfectly seasoned meats and some of the best hummus and garlic sauce in town, but is also known for its excellent hospitality, making every customer feel like family. It’s located right in the RioCentre Kanata strip mall, so take a shopping break and drop by!

Yalla Yalla Bakery & Lebanese Foods - 2010 Trim Rd.

Yalla Yalla is a bakery, so you just know their pita bread is BOMB! Their shawarma sandwich platters are to die for–their really is nothing like fluffy falafel or juicy chicken wrapped in fresh, soft pita bread. Have low patience? Is your mouth watering right at this second? No worries, you can order your dish in advance online through the Yalla Yalla website so it’s waiting for you when you show up at their door!

Shawarma Garlic & Onion - 200-1465 Richmond Rd

Shawarma Garlic & Onion is the perfect casual dining spot. Their bright, sleek interior makes it a great place to eat-in if you don’t feel like take-out. We also love how beautiful all the fresh and pickled veggies and shawarma toppings look behind their sleek prep counter! That alone will have your mouth watering.

Shawarma Station - 2446 Bank St.

If you’re looking for a lot of options, we recommend Shawarma Station! Not only can you get traditional beef, chicken or falafel platters, but they also offer filet mignon and salmon shawarma! Their big selection of traditional manakish pies is also really impressive. This place will make you want to order the whole menu in one sitting!
