Kristine St-Pierre releases bilingual album Call Me Crazy

Ottawa singer-songwriter Kristine St-Pierre has released Call Me Crazy, her first full-length bilingual album.

A little more than two years since the release of her first bilingual EP Stand Still for A While, Kristine launches a second album that shows off her maturity and sensitivity, all the while keeping with her crazy personality! A familiar face on the Ottawa music scene, Kristine is known for her infectious smile and enthusiastic performances.

Produced by Ottawa’s own Dean Watson, the album includes a number of collaborations with well-known artists and musicians. Among them are Franco-Ontarian singer-songwriter Eric Vanier on the upbeat melody of Streetcars & Trains, and cellist Raphael Weinroth-Browne on the more introspective songs L’épreuve and Je m’en fous. Renowned percussionist Shawn Sasyniuk, with whom Kristine first teamed up during Ontario Pop 2010, adds an exotic touch with his cajon, while Dave Morrow of the band Old Whiskey Road lends his comforting vocals to the mix. Ottawa- and Toronto-based singer-songwriter Blue Blue Satellite adds the finishing touch with his delicate violin.

Kristine recently launched two of her French titles, Je m’en fous and L’épreuve on the Franco-Ontarian television show Coups Francs. Both songs are also being played on community radio stations across Ontario. In addition, the official video for her song Time, produced by Playmakers Studio, is available here.
