Meme Girls: Ottawa’s Comedy Extravaganza

Get ready to laugh, Ottawa!

On March 7, 2015, Toronto Comedy All-Stars arrives at Ottawa’s Arts Court Theatre with MEME GIRLS, featuring the hilarious Aparna Nancherla.

After a series of sold-out shows in the nation?s capital, Toronto Comedy All-Stars are back with some of Canada?s most loved comedians.

TorontoComedyAll-Stars.AparnaNancherla.QLedbetterToronto Comedy All-Stars is dedicated to promoting the Toronto comedy community and providing opportunities for local talent to perform all across Ontario. Along with year-round Toronto comedy events, Toronto Comedy All-Stars regularly produce hit comedy showcases in Hamilton, Ottawa, London and Guelph.

Headlining Ottawa’s upcoming show, Aparna Nancherla has quickly become one of the brightest rising stars in the comedy scene. Originally from Washington, D.C., her razor sharp humour has left crowds cracking up all over North America. Catching the attention of industry elites, she has appeared on the television show Conan and was named one of the 140 Best Twitter Feeds of 2014 by Time Magazine. If there is one up-and-coming comedian to catch perform before she hits the big time, Nancherla is it!

Also gracing the stage will be Robert Keller, Jess Beaulieu and Ashley Moffatt, all ready with their best material to leave the audience rolling in the aisles.

Hosting this comedy extravaganza will be Danish Anwar, comedian and founder of Toronto Comedy All-Stars. Born and raised in Moscow, he is an accomplished trilingual stand-up comedian. He is a finalist in JFL42’s Funniest Torontonian Award and will be appearing in this year’s Winnipeg Comedy Festival.

Brave the winter weather for an evening of comedy you won’t forget!
