Musical Musings At Wanderlust

If there is one thing in the world that we can all agree upon, it is the love of music!
Whether you prefer the hard beat of electro to get you out on the dance floor, the relaxing melodies of classical music or something in between, we can all relate to the affection we feel towards our favourite tunes.
Turns out that listening to music is good for us, too! Did you know listening to music can help develop cognitive skills, enhance blood vessel function, and improve sleep quality? There’s one more reason to pop in those headphones on your morning commute!
At Wanderlust Mont-Tremblant, the music performances being offered are top-notch! After sweating out those sun salutations all day, what could be a better way to spend an evening than swaying along to some amazing performances?
Check out just a few of the fantastic performers stopping by at Wanderlust Mont-Tremblant:
Montreal-based folk pop violinist Eliza Moore has traveled the world playing everywhere from street corners to opera houses. Classically trained by composers in Boston and London, she has recorded albums with acclaimed musicians like Deron Johnson (Miles Davis) and Michael Valerio.
The influence for her music ranges from the Irish landscape to early choral music to the triumphant sounds of Arcade Fire and Sigur Ros. Moore’s sound is critically acclaimed for being both warmth and haunting.
Moore is stopping by Wanderlust to perform tracks off her new EP Everything to Me. Teaming up with songsmith/producer Jay Nash, she achieves an exposed and authentic sound on Everything to Me offering an intimate experience of her lovely and strong voice.
HANNAH is a dynamic violinist and producer who blends her nomadic musical stylings with deep electronic soundscapes.
Her diverse musical career started with classical music at the age of 3, making forays thereafter into electronic, improvisational and folk music.
On stage, HANNAH has performed with a range of acts from The Rolling Stones (with Kanye West) to Bassnectar, MOBY, Random Rab, EOTO and many more. She even performed at a special event for Obama’s 2013 Inaugural Ball!
HANNAH plays both an acoustic and a five-string electric violin, accompanied by her original electronic scores. Her sound blurs genres in innovative ways creating a fresh and original performance that can’t be missed!
From humble beginnings in Montreal's underground house and hip hop scene, SeriousBlack blends sounds from England's rabid Northern Soul scene to the birth of disco in New York, the sound systems of Jamaica to the scratch wars of early hip-hop in the Bronx, Chicago house to Detroit techno to London rave. This DJ is inspired by all kinds of music and offers an exhilarating performance to match.
Having shared the stage with sought-after DJ’s from around the globe, catching a performance from SeriousBlack at Wanderlust is a major bonus!
Get ready to let loose and dance to the beat at this inspiring performance!
