OLM Pet of the Week- Meet Cricket

It’s time for this week’s OLM Pet of the Week feature, where we feature an adoptable pet in Ottawa who is looking for a forever home. This week we want you to meet this cute little nugget, Cricket, who is up for adoption with Cat Rescue Network. Cricket is the last kitten born of a rescued stray cat named Misty to be looking for her forever home. This sweet girl is a black DSH with gorgeous golden eyes, who will be turning 1 on August 21st, 2017. She is named after the adorable way she hops whilw playing (like a cricket)!

Despite being the smallest in her litter, Cricket makes up for it with a big personality! When meeting new people, she can be and will likely always be shy, but once she feels comfortable with someone, her personality really starts to shine. She transforms into a chatty kitty and lets you know when she wants attention by making little chirps, trills, and meows. Cricket LOVES to snuggle and will often cuddle and purr with you in bed. You’ll know if she likes you if she jumps onto your lap to hang out. She is also a very playful cat and loves to games of toys that let her hone her natural hunting skills!

Cricket would do well in a home with another young cat to play with, and would also be fine with cat-friendly dogs. She is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations and housetrained. This sweet little kitty is bound to brighten up your days for years to come!
