Latin Sparks Block Party at Albert Island, June 9

Mamma Mia! At Centrepointe Theatre, Jun 1-10

You’ve definitely heard of this pop classic musical — based on ABBA’s legendary hits, Mamma Mia! takes place on a hot and hilarious Greek island. Sophie is getting married, but who’s going to give her away? Raised by her mother, Sophie’s uncovered three men who could all be her father… how to decide? Performances will be running from June 1-10 at Centrepointe Theatre (Tuesday – Saturday at 7:30pm, Sundays at 2pm). Tickets are $15.75-$45.75.

Move Over Mrs. Markham at Ottawa Little Theatre, Jun 6-23

Head to Ottawa Little Theatre between June 6-23 and check out the new hilarious and sexy play you won’t want to miss. Philip Markham is a timid children’s book publisher. He and his wife, Joanna have been married for 15 years and are getting bored. Philip’s business partner, Henry, is a philanderer who plans to borrow Philip’s apartment to do some philandering. Henry’s wife, it turns out, has the same plan. Joanna’s interior decorator has an eye for the housekeeper… when Philip stumbles on all three couples, hilarity ensues. Shows start at 7.30 and 2.30 p.m. A Student ticket is $12, seniors are $24, and adults are $27.

Seniors Pop-up Painting at NAC, until Jun 27

Rideau Lakes Cycle Tour from Ottawa to Kingston, Jun 9-10
