From covering famous artists to becoming famous themselves and quickly…drumroll…Yes I’m talking about The Vamps, a British pop rock boy band. Members of the band include Brad Simpson, lead vocals and guitar player, James McVey, lead guitarist and back up vocals, and Tristan Evans, lead drummer and back up vocals. This collaboration formed early on in 2012 and then signed to Mercury Records, a major label imprint in November of that same year! They went on their Memory Lane Tour in 2013 which was a big sensation and have been performing at several festival events in the UK. They have been support acts to big-time shows such as The Wanted, Little Mix, JLS and Lawson. “Can We Dance” was a single released on September 29, 2013, which debuted at number two on the Singles Chart in the UK. “Wild Heart” which is my favourite song as of now was released January 18, 2014 and peaked at number three.
