Saskatchewan Based Singer Carrie Catherine performs in Style at Rasputin’s

Singer/songwriter Carrie Catherine is touring Canada in promotion of her third album Green Eyed Soul. Known for her sassy song writing and poetic lyrics, Carrie Catherine has quickly become Saskatchewan’s best musical export since Grammy winner and Canadian musical icon Joni Mitchell. On Saturday April 5th, Carrie’s charismatic presence and infectious rhythms captured the hearts of the attentive audience at Rasputin's Folk Café. Carrie Catherine’s first album Out the Car Window has been featured numerous times on television’s Joan of Arcadia and Beautiful People. In 2005, Catherine released Venus Envy, dubbed the year’s “best Saskatchewan independent release”. Carrie was also part of the Junofest 2007 showcase and the Western Canadian Music Festival 2007. Additionally, Carrie is working in collaboration with Canadian designer Dace Moore (www.dace.ca) who has provided Carrie with her wardrobe for the cross Canada tour. Since 2002, Dace Moore collections have attracted a growing following in Canada and the United States.
