So now that you know all about the Wanderlust Festival at Mont-Tremblant this August, I bet you are just dying to find out why this year’s event is going to be better than any other!

We know about—and are still awe-struck over—the breathtaking views and the many activities available over the five-day event. From yoga to paddle-boarding, the festival is sure to be a blast!

Lucky for you, Ottawa Lifers, I have the scoop on how this year’s festival is gearing up to surpass all expectations.

First of all, are you aware the Wanderlust Festival moves around to different locations throughout the summer? That’s right. Whether it’s Whistler or Brooklyn, you can yoga your way around the continent.

At each of the festivals this year, Wanderlust is introducing an adventure race: a weekend-long race with a physical challenge combining cycling, running, swimming and yoga. You’ll break a sweat and a smile as you power through a variety of obstacles.

The Photoflow Photography Workshop will get you hiking with photographer Ali Kaukas. Bring your camera and take some amazing shots of the outdoors with her professional guidance. Your photos will capture memories of a lifetime.

While each Wanderlust event follows the same type of set-up, every location has a unique itinerary. Wanderlust Tremblant will feature sunrise and sunset hikes—20-minute excursions into the forest, followed by 40 minutes of music inspired by the surroundings. Another special event: Le Bateau Wanderlust. This is your chance to enjoy wine samplings, snack on cheese and other locally sourced nibbles and listen to live music, all while watching the sun set as you cruise along Lac Tremblant (an additional charge for this event applies). And don’t forget about the opportunity to relax and get pampered with the Scandinave Spa Mont-Tremblant—an outdoor spa located right on the shores of the Devil’s River in the Laurentian forest. All Wanderlust attendees will receive a discount for a selection of massage and bath experiences.

With so many new experiences to try, and an amazing regular repertoire, this year’s Wanderlust Tremblant sounds truly awesome!
