Here at Ottawa Life, we’re always looking for fun events that our city offers each weekend. Here is what the city has in store for you this June 10-12. See you there!

There's a giant street party in Westboro, and guess what? You're invited! There will be tons of interactive family friendly displays, games, shopping, local talent, music and of course mouth-watering culinary experiences. There will be a main stage where many amazing artists and bands will be performing Friday and Saturday night. Westboro Fuse will also include a fashion show and if you aren’t sold yet, there will also be ziplining!

If you are an entrepreneur (or maybe just on your way to catch a flight) who needs a little bit of a boost in the career department then we suggest stopping by the airport on Friday.  Shopify is having a two day pop-up shop event to help inspire those to switch up their career plan. They will have products and guides that you can take home to get you started on your entrepreneurial path as well as products from Canadian entrepreneurs themselves.

Canadian Museum of Nature, Ultimate Dinosaurs, Opens Saturday June 11

It's finally here! Check out what amazing new features the Museum of Nature has in store for you. This time the exhibits will blow your previous dinosaur knowledge away. Encounter a whole new side to the dinosaur world with expert knowledge of the dinosaurs from ancient continent of Gondwana in the southern hemisphere. Prepare to be amazed.

Upper Canada Village, Medieval Festival, Saturday June 11 and Sunday June 12 (9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.) 


Get lost in medieval time as actors and impersonators scatter the beautiful grounds. Buskers, dancers, musicians, artisans, merchants, archers and jousters come together for a lively, culture filled event. Enjoy a day of experience life in the past at Upper Canada Village.

Lansdowne Aberdeen Pavilion, DessertFest, Saturday June 11 - Sunday June 12 (Assorted times)


What can be ruined by one cheat... weekend? Join in on the sugary fun with many local, professional vendors. Get some baking inspiration while enjoying the finest desserts our city has to offer. Don't forget your sweet tooth!

Ottawa - Kingston, Rideau Lakes Cycle Tour, Saturday June 11 - Sunday 12

For the past 44 years cyclists from around Ontario have been participating in the Rideau Lakes Cycle Tour, giving bikers the chance to bike around Ottawa and Kingston, stopping at Queen's University for accommodations at the end of the first day. Food is provided as well so you can socialize with other cyclists on the tour. Check out the website to see exactly what route you can bike.

Little Italy, Italian Week Ottawa, Starts Thursday June 9italy

Get the authentic Italian experience in the heart of Ottawa's Italian community. The annual Italian Fest is back and better than ever and waiting for you to come enjoy the festivities. It's the 42nd anniversary of the festival, and this year, it's partnered with the Italian Ferrari Festival, which mean there will be car parade! Along with bikes, culture, and of course the food. Come down, enjoy the spirit and indulge in the Italian culture.

Canadian Tire Centre, Mumford and sons, Sunday June 12 (7:30 p.m.)mumford and sons

Mumford & Sons will be doing a mini Canadian tour this weekend, stopping in Quebec City, Ottawa and Toronto. Special guest Raury will also be joining. Mumford & Sons will be bringing you songs from their third album, Wilder Mind. It will be the band's first time in Ottawa so let's make sure they have a great time and come out to the show.
