You Belong Here: Carlingwood YMCA

Now that fall is officially here, the days of frisbee in a wide-open field or stepping up to the plate for a game of baseball are gone. With the brisk air setting in, families can look to the newest YMCA at Carlingwood Mall for indoor family fun.

The YMCA offers an exclusive family program guide with a variety of activities everyone from little sister to dad will enjoy.

Gather the family and take part in a friendly match of soccer. No registration is required and the 12 weeks of passing, shooting and scoring fun come at no extra charge to members.

If you’re looking for something unique, Carlingwood YMCA offers beginner and intermediate/advanced taekwondo classes. The beginner level class introduces taekwondo in a way that will have families and individuals alike coming back for more. Participants of the intermediate level class have the opportunity to earn their yellow, orange or green belt and advanced level class participants can earn their blue belt and beyond.

If your family still needs to shake off some energy, try out family Zumba! Upbeat dance music meets specially designed choreography and comes together to create an energetic fitness routine. Dancers of all ages and skill levels will love this innovative dance workout.

The YMCA offers monthly and annual family rates. The facility also offers a free day pass  for prospective members to come see all that the YMCA has to offer.

The Carlingwood YMCA will hold its grand opening festivities on September 27 from 9:30 a.m.-12 p.m. Be sure to drop by and take in some of the free activities, enter to win great prizes and inquire about special offers.
