Recognized as a pioneer in the fashion industry, Froese launched the first-ever Canadian website dedicated to Canadian fashion law (WWW.CANADAFASHIONLAW.COM) in 2011. Froese also led a pan-industry movement in 2015 challenging the Ontario government to acknowledge the fashion industry as part of the cultural sector, thereby becoming eligible for government funding, in which she continues to pursue to this day. Froese holds a number of leadership roles in the community including past chair and board member of the Toronto Intellectual Property Group; committee member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada; committee member of the International Trademark Association; executive member of the Ontario Bar Association – Media, Entertainment & Communications Law; Co-chair and board member of the Fashion Group International Toronto (FGI); and Brand Strategy Council Member of the Canadian Marketing Association. Froese is also a long-standing mentor to the Toronto Fashion Incubator (TFI), Ryerson Fashion Zone and Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards (CAFA).
