The Ottawa Bach Choir (OBC) presents an Intimate Evening with the Ottawa Bach Choir at the Teron residence. The evening will include a concert and reception with wine, cheese and desserts hosted by Bill and Jean Teron at their beautiful home in the Kanata Rockeries.
This is the first event in the Ottawa Bach Choir’s 2013 Intimate Concert Series, which features smaller concerts in the stylish homes of our patrons—a historically accurate and more personal setting for chamber music. The choir expertly adapts its performance to the acoustics of each unique space so you will hear the small, inner details of the music that you wouldn’t notice in a bigger concert hall. Sitting up close to the ensemble will allow you to physically experience the subtle communication between performers in a way that just can’t happen in a large hall. Each Intimate Concert is followed by a scrumptious reception unique to the venue and patron, along with exclusive “backstage-pass” accessibility to the artists. The scene is festive and fun and the music will move you emotionally. Come share in this intimate experience with us!
This event is a fundraiser for the Ottawa Bach Choir, a not-for-profit organization and internationally acclaimed choral ensemble founded in 2002 by Dr. Lisette Canton, the choir’s founder and artistic director. The Ottawa Bach Choir offers a wide range of choral music from all historical periods, featuring some of Canada’s top choristers. With the combination of a scholarly and emotional approach to choral music, the Ottawa Bach Choir provides an unforgettable experience of music at its best.
