4 style staples to fall back on this season

It’s officially fall! A drop in temperature means it’s time to recover your fall favourites from the back of your closet. Layering made easy is the key to dressing for this season. Whether you are the type of person who can’t wait to break out a whole new wardrobe, or someone who has difficulty letting go of their summer staples, these 4 pieces will have you looking forward to cooler weather.

Sleeveless sweater

As fall (and soon winter) sets in, the last thing you want is a bulky combo! Avoid the frustration of having your sweater bunch up under your coat with this season’s ultimate solution. A sleeveless crewneck or turtleneck pairs well with your favourite skinny jeans and or go-to leggings.

Peep toe booties

One of the many advantages of summer styling is chance to wear light and loose footwear. Overcome the summer-to-fall footwear transition with a peep toe boot (aka. Open-toe booties).

Long cardigans

Don’t put your summer dresses away just yet! Instead, transition them into fall by pairing it with a long cardigan. The length of the cardigan you choose will depend on the fit and shape of the dress. Keep in mind one simple tip: ensure the cardigan is never (or not much) longer than the dress you’re layering it over top of.

Summer Skirt

If you can keep your dresses who says you can’t keep your skirts too? Pair a knee-length skirt with a knee-high boots or wear your shorter skirts atop some opaque tights.
