Babylon (317 Bank St.)

If you're seeking a club that's laid back and casual, Babylon is the place for you. This Ottawa staple has been around for over 20 years, so they have a good handle on what Ottawans love when it comes to nightlife entertainment. Known for good music and a really friendly atmosphere, we recommend you get there early because it's always packed!

City At Night (222 Slater St.)

City at Night has a sleek aesthetic and modern, hip vibe that is sure to have you and your friends on your feet all night long! The smaller space makes for a unique experience compared to larger, less intimate venues. They're known for hosting Ottawa's best promoters, artists and DJS, with live events almost every weekend, so don't miss out!

Mercury Lounge (56 ByWard Market Square)

Mercury Lounge has not one, but two dance floors! What's especially great is that each floor plays different kinds of music, so there's something for everyone. Besides the great music and super talented DJs that the club features, they also host film screenings. Who would’ve thought movies and clubbing could go hand in hand?

Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Club Ottawa (292 Elgin St.)

If your idea of a fun night out is good laughs and a drink, Yuk Yuk’s is the spot for you! The best comedy club in Ottawa, top Canadian comedians have shows here regularly and it's also a great place to catch some new, upcoming talent in the stand-up world!

The 27 Club (27 York St.)

The 27 Club took over the location of Zaphod Beeblebrox when it closed down in 2017, and it does not disappoint! It has quickly become a city favourite with its great drink selection and weekly live music shows. Also, keep an eye out on their Facebook page for announcements about their special themed nights that they sometimes host such as “Emo Night” and “Post Malone Night.”

JunXion (15 George St.)

JunXion is another Ottawa staple. Targeted to the millennial crowd, the DJs spin a lot of current, radio hits, so if you often find yourself singing along to the Weekly Top 40 in your car, this is the place for you. Don’t feel like dancing or need a little break? No worries! JunXion is actually a bi-level club with the upstairs being a more laid back, lounge area for you to chat and enjoy a drink.

The Lookout Bar (41 York St., 2nd floor)

The Lookout Bar is an Ottawa gem and has gained the reputation of being one of Ottawa’s best gay clubs over the 19 years it’s been around. The intimate club on York Street has a full bar of to-die-for drinks, the hottest music, and incredible weekly drag shows featuring Ottawa’s top drag queens. No matter your sexuality or gender, Lookout promises to offer you a night of freedom, fun and non-stop entertainment.

Ppl. (130 George St.)

Ppl. is part club, part lounge and part shisha bar so it’s truly welcoming to everyone’s tastes. Not only is the venue itself stunning–clean and sleek with cool graphic art on the wall–but the service is spot on. If you make a group reservation, you and your friends will be treated like nothing less than superstars! They host various events and have an awesome bottle service menu, so don't miss out!

WARD 14 (139 Preston St.)

Part consignment shop and part bar, WARD 14 takes the cake as the most unique night spot in town. It opens at 5 PM daily and offers a wide range of late night bites, cocktails, wine and craft beer. The space is casual, cozy, and who knows, maybe you'll spot a treasure or two to bring home. For extra fun, drop in on one of their trivia nights!

Do you love country music? Well, make Crazy Horse your new spot to hit up on a night out. Enjoy drinks and everything country and Western including live country music on weekends, high quality bar food and more. This classic saloon-style spot is lively and inviting, so don't miss out!
