We Create Change Tour Impacts the Nation through Motivation and Inspiration

April 11 marked the beginning of a remarkable journey for not only motivational speaker Spencer West, 11 year-old activist Hannah Alper and MMVA nominated Canadian group Neverest, but all of the people that they have touched and the many worldwide who will soon be positively impacted.WCCT-Collage

All of this takes place in just ten weeks; the We Create Change tour makes ninety stops while visiting nine provinces. Contagious inspiration is evident through moving speeches, stories, show-stopping performances and some special surprises as they explore the issue of equal access to education.

Spencer West strives to redefine what is possible within every breathing moment. At the age of five he was told that he would never be a functioning member of society after losing both of his legs. Let me tell you…Those words did not stop this undeniable change maker. West not only pushed himself to become the best he could be but is consistent in seeking ways in which he can encourage people worldwide in overcoming challenges just as he 9768191did.

Impossible; a word that does not seem to be apart of West’s vocabulary.

This man reached the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro and completed a 300 km trek across Alberta on his hands and in his wheelchair all in support of clean water projects through Free The Children.

Ottawa was privileged to be a destination on the We Create Change Tour. The event took place April 29 at Hopewell Public School (17 Hopewell Avenue).

If this doesn’t make you want to get up off your feet and find out how you can become an active member in society or begin with attending the event in the first place, you should probably read the article again.
