The Drawings of Mother-of-Pearl Inlay Artisans – Until Fri. Dec 12th

The Korean Cultural Centre Canada (KCC) and the Seoul Museum of Craft Art (SeMoCA) present a special touring exhibition titled “The Drawings of Mother-of-Pearl Inlay Artisans,” highlighting najeon designs. These drawings serve as blueprints for the intricate patterns created by cutting and inlaying shell pieces.

Featuring more than 100 works, visitors can delight in this opportunity to see rare designs and masterpieces by master artisans alongside new creations by contemporary artists, offering a unique perspective on the enduring beauty and innovation of Korean mother-of-pearl lacquerware.
