 As president of Unifor — Canada's largest private-sector union — Jerry Dias has been at the forefront of the most pressing economic, social and workplace issues the past decade. He began working at de Havilland Aircraft (now Bombardier Aerospace) in 1978, becoming a steward and eventually president of Local 112.
