Meet the Ottawa Knitters that Won the Internet with their Scarves on Statues Initiative

 By Hannah Alper Last week, I read an amazing story of kindness, collaboration and action. Overnight in downtown Ottawa hand-knitted scarves were placed on statues. On each scarf a tag was sewn that said only “I’m not lost if you’re stuck in the cold, take this scarf to keep warm!”
