Opera Night in Ottawa

On Thursday June 7th, join the opulent crowd at the most fashionable Gala in Ottawa: the Pellegrini Opera’s spring fundraising dinner! Versace and Al Masani Royal Jewelry & Couture are on board as well to bring you a night of opera, fashion, and of course food. Versace Night at the Beirut Opera is a fundraiser for the Pellegrini Opera’s upcoming production of Madama Butterfly. Kick off Italian Heritage Month in style this year — tickets are only $60 and include dinner, concert, fashion show, and a chance to win some great prizes!

"This will be one night to remember,” says organizer, Maria Al-Masani. “The most exclusive deals at Ottawa's only Versace show to kick off a month of celebration of Italian heritage, to the most glamorous opera music in the world and Ottawa's best food and most decadent perfumes. Italians know how to live!”

With a performance by International Mozart Competitionwinning Soprano, Ania Hejnar, Versace Night at the Beirut will be giving you opera at its finest! The fashion show models include Miss Multicultural Amber Elrik, and Red Blacks Cheerleader, Miss Universe finalist and Miss World Ottawa, Erin Chapman!

The first 30 tickets sold will get a free Versace sample, and if you get your tickets online at least 4 days before the event, you’ll be entered into a contest to win a Versace perfume! Show off your outfit on social media too — the most glamorous look posted at least 5 days before the event will win a Versace fragrance! Don’t forget to add #VersaceOperaJun7 & #Ottawa to your post and send a screenshot to eveningofbeauty.pellegrini@gmail.com.

"There is nothing more spectacular than Italian music, paired with the craftsmanship of Italian couture and perfume,” says Maria Pellegrini, founder of Pellegrini Opera, “aside from our production of Madama Butterfly this September!”

The night is divided in half, beginning with an Italian segment and ending in Lebanese. After some introductions, the fragrance show will start at 7pm. The fashion show and opera will follow at 8pm, and dinner, a spectacular Mediterranean feast begins at 9. After 10pm, a classical Lebanese band takes over the stage to begin the second half of the evening.

Versace won’t be the only big name of the evening: “We’ll have incredible haute couture from Richard Robinson's Emmy's by Eiman, Cantas, and more.” explains Maria Al-Masani. “Hair and makeup for each female model will be a minimum of two hours by celebrity hair and makeup artists. It's a great way to kick off Ottawa's Italian Heritage Month, and a wonderful way to reward ourselves after voting. I encourage everyone this provincial election to vote and reward themselves with Versace!”
