This year’s event also marks Ottawa’s first St. Patrick’s Day parade since the COVID-19 pandemic paused celebrations in 2020, making it a long-awaited homecoming for many.

The St. Patrick’s Day Parade is making its return to the capital, featuring 45 floats, a massive 25-by-50-foot Irish tricolour, marching families, and more. The procession will set off from the Supreme Court of Canada and make its way 1.6 kilometres along Wellington and Sussex before heading into the ByWard Market.
