Catch recently re-signed Ottawa native Johnny Berhanemeskel and the Ottawa BlackJacks take on the Hamilton Honey Badgers this Sunday afternoon. Ottawa fans are hoping for great things from the team as it leaps towards hosting CEBL Championship Weekend in August.

A Company of Fools is performing Shakespeare in the park all summer long. Grab the family, pack a picnic, and head to your local park to catch a performance of The Tempest. If the cast’s enthusiasm means anything, you won't be disappointed.

Kemptville Live Music Festival

Over forty breweries will be at Place des Festivals in Gatineau for the 11th edition of Festibiere. The eight-day festival is an excellent opportunity to try the best beers, ciders, and spirits produced by local microbreweries. Each week breweries compete to win the Festibière's best beer title. A great musical lineup, artisans, and food trucks will be onsite throughout the festival.

Matt O’Brien is a Los Angeles-based comedian who has been featured on MTV, Variety, TBS, Comedy Network, CBC, Odd Squad on PBS, MuchMusic, and San Francisco Sketchfest. He has been a featured performer at JFL42, wrote and performed his own hour-long special on The Comedy Network in Canada, and in 2017 he performed his third TV gala at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal.

Hamilton

The show wowing audiences across North America, Hamilton is at the National Arts Centre until the end of the month. The Tony Award-winning musical by Lin-Manuel Miranda tells the story of Alexander Hamilton, one of the founding fathers of the United States, using rap, hip hop, as well as R&B, pop, soul, and traditional-style show tunes.

Ottawa Asian Night Market

When: July 22-24, 2022
Where: Sparks Street
What time: 12 pm to midnight Friday and Saturday, 12 pm to 8 pm Sunday
Admission: Free

After four successful Night Markets in Chinatown, the Ottawa Asian Night Market is moving to a larger, more accessible space on Sparks Street. Expect more performances and food this year on the pedestrian-friendly Sparks Street with more available parking and direct access to public transit. Ottawa's DJ Marquez, long-time resident DJ at the Canadian Tire Centre for the Ottawa Senators, will be closing the night on Friday and Saturday.

NOTE: Festival organizers recommend coming with cash.
