Malcolm Shaw and his Atletico Ottawa teammates take to the field one more time this weekend in their biggest game of the season: the Canadian Premier League Championship.
It’s a good thing TD Place is an open-air stadium, or the energy and excitement could blow the roof off the place. In just their second season, Atletico is taking the city by storm. Not only were they first place overall in the regular season, but they are hosting the final. Hamilton's Forge FC will be the opponent trying to ruin the party, but they will be facing a team that has been the most entertaining sports team this city has seen in some time.
The stadium, typically only filled with fans on the South Side, has opened the North side in response to the overwhelming demand for tickets.
