Air France Is Back at Osheaga

Air France announced on May 23 that it will sponsor Montreal’s 8th Osheaga Music and Arts Festival, which runs from August 2 to 4, 2013 at Parc Jean-Drapeau. This festival is hugely popular and thousands of people from Ottawa and the National Capital Region attend it each year.

Air France will present the festival’s Made in France stage, featuring six French artists and bands:  Phoenix, Lou Doillon, C2C, Rone, Odezenne and Hyphen Hyphen. This sponsorship is made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Consulate General of France in Quebec and the Institut français.

“We are very pleased with this collaboration that will help shine the spotlight on today’s French music scene during the festival,” said Fabien Pelous, vice-president and general manager of AIR FRANCE KLM Canada.

In addition to flying the Made in France artists from Paris to Montreal, Air France will also be offering two tickets as part of the Win a trip to the 2014 Eurockéennes de Belfort contest, which will enable the winner and the travelling companion of his or her choice to fly to France to attend the festival. The prize also includes two VIP passes, three nights’ accommodation in Belfort, and a backstage tour courtesy of the Eurocks team.

Those who are interested in entering the contest may do so on www.osheaga.com/airfrance or by joining the Facebook event (https://www.facebook.com/events/326700687459807/).

(Closer to the event, some passes will be up for grabs on the Air France Canada Facebook page.)
