This hotel is located in suburban Kanata, giving visitors a different taste of Ottawa outside of the busy downtown sector. Whether it’s just for a couple nights or an extended stay, Homewood Suites has a comfortable, home-y feel with spacious suites and amenities such as a full gym, large business and meeting spaces and daily hot breakfast. It’s proximity to the Canadian Tire Centre and Kanata’s North Business Park is another plus.

This four-diamond resort is a stunning option for your next luxurious getaway or special event like business party or wedding. Not only is the interior spacious and beautiful, but the hotel’s grounds are awesome – complete with a seasonal skating rink, salt water pools, comfy lounge areas and golf courses. It’s also pet-friendly so your four-legged baby can enjoy some luxury too!

Fairmont Château Laurier (1 Rideau St.)

A local landmark, this building has played host to its fair share of visiting dignitaries and Canadian history. It was designed in the French chateau-style and guest rooms were recently revamped with a multi-million-dollar renovation. Grand and opulent, the hotel offers beautiful views and even a couple of ghost stories. Afternoon high tea at the on-site restaurant Zoe’s Lounge is a must.

ARC The Hotel (140 Slater St.)

Everything about this boutique hotel is chic and modern. The decor is all about clean lines and texture, featuring sleek neutral furniture, mirrored tables, and lots of windows making the space bright and airy. The intimate candlelit lounge and bar run by Executive Chef Andrew Willis serves comfort food combined with a hint of Creole influence.

The Metcalfe Hotel (123 Metcalfe St.)

The Metcalfe is breathtaking, mixing both the old and modern. The site of the hotel has a rich history – the location was originally the home of Father of Confederation Sir George-Etienne Cartier. It then became the site of the YMCA, then the Hotel Indigo, until finally become The Metcalfe Hotel in 2017. The exterior maintains its historic look, while the inside is a millennial’s chic, boutique hotel dream. With its indoor pool, great restaurant, gym and more, you will not want to leave.

This contemporary space boasts the city’s hottest rooftop bar complete with unbeatable views. As if that weren't enough, there’s also a rooftop fitness center, complimentary mini bar and a pet program. Each floor of the hotel was designed to represent the character and culture of a specific province or territory, featuring local Ottawa artists throughout.

The Westin is located right in the heart of the city – surrounded by the Rideau Centre, Shaw Centre, National Arts Centre and the gorgeous Canal. It is within walking distance of essentially all of downtown’s hottest attractions. The hotel’s recently opened rooftop ballroom, called TwentyTwo, is one of its most standout features. The Lord Elgin is the epitome of elegance. The commanding limestone façade holds a luxurious and classic interior. You’ll feel like you’ve been transported to the 1940’s as you admire its beauty. Built during war-time as a symbol of hope for the prosperous times to come, they have been serving the capital for over 75 years and is one of the city’s most notable landmarks.

The Alt Hotel offers sleek, modern rooms and great amenities at an accessible price. This self-proclaimed “affordable luxury” spot proves that you don’t necessarily have to break the bank to travel comfortably. The hotel’s central location makes it ideal for both leisure and business travelers alike. Amenities include the on-site Altcetera Cafe and a fully-equipped gym.
