  • Maximum age of the applicant should be 60-65 years at maturity

  • All identity documents such as Passport, Visa, Emirates ID.

  • Trade license in case of a self-employed applicant

A business loan is a loan availed for business purposes such as expanding the business, requirement for working capital, etc.

  • Collateral is not needed by most of the banks
  • The loan amount can range between AED 5,000 and AED 5 million
  • The documentation is easy
  • The approval is not a lengthy process, provided you have the correct documents
  • Re-payment options offered by banks are flexible
  • A relationship manager to cater to client’s needs are offered by some banks
  • Many banks offer a credit card along with the loan
  • Some banks also give you a current account with them with zero balance requirements

The eligibility and documentation for a business loan vary across providers. However, usually the requirements are:

  • A bank statement of the business or your personal account
  • The business should be up and running for a minimum period of one year
  • Typically the business turnover should be at least AED 50,000
  • Trade license copy
  • All incorporation documents that are applicable
  • Passport for the owner and/or partners
