What: The Gift of Jazz / From Africa to New Orleans to The True North Strong and Free: A Celebration of and tribute to Black History Month

Celebrate all the vibrant aspects of African culture at this year’s Africa Day on the Hill celebration! Taking place at the beautiful Sir John A. What: An Evening with Wanda Robson

Learn about Black history and the inequalities Black people have faced in Canada throughout the years from Wanda Robson – author, educator and younger sister of Canadian trailblazer Viola Desmond. Robson will talk about her activism throughout the years and of course share insight about the incredible work of her sister and what went into getting her memorialized on the current $10 bill.
