Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) 2020 edition

The 2020 edition of Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) takes place on Saturday, February 22nd.  It’s a great opportunity to have fun with friends and family, and make a difference in the lives of people who need the programs and services of The Ottawa Mission. This is the sixth year of this great initiative that shines the spotlight on poverty and homelessness in our community.

CNOY 2020 is a 2km, 5km, or 10km walk that, in some small way, symbolizes what it would be like to live on the streets in the dead of winter. You may experience a bit of what it feels like to aimlessly wander the icy sidewalks of Ottawa wondering if and where warmth and shelter can be found.

This year’s walking routes start and end at the Shaw Centre and wind through the downtown. There are family-friendly activities before and after, and you are very welcome to drop in to The Mission’s Rest Stop along the route where you can interact with us, learn about what we do, and be warmed by friendly smiles and hot drinks.

Please consider joining us for CNOY 2020. This is a great opportunity to get together with friends and family, enjoy a fun evening, and help serve the poor and the homeless of Ottawa. In whatever way you think works for you, we invite you to join us on Saturday, February 22nd.  Together, we can make a difference!

Registration is still available up to and including Saturday at: https://cnoy.org/location/ottawadowntown

Please contact The Ottawa Mission if you would like more information on how you can participate and help raise funds for CNOY.
