HAMILTON for a Ten-Spot? The Digital Lottery Lands in Ottawa!
Believe it — the HAMILTON digital lottery is coming to Ottawa, and it’s your chance to see Broadway’s biggest hit for just $10!
The Pulitzer Prize–winning musical will take the stage at the National Arts Centre from August 5–17, and thanks to Broadway Across Canada and Producer Jeffrey Seller, a limited number of $10 tickets will be up for grabs for every performance — but you’ll need to win the lottery (the fun kind).
How to Enter the HAMILTON Lottery:
• Download the official HAMILTON app — available on both iOS and Android
• Enter the digital lottery starting Friday, July 25 at 10:00 a.m.
• The lottery for the first week of shows (Aug 5–10) closes Thursday, July 31 at 12:00 p.m.
The digital lottery for the second week of shows (Aug 5–10) opens Friday, August 1, at 10:00 a.m. and closes Thursday, August 7, at 12:00 p.m.
• Winners will be notified via email and push notification between 1:00–3:00 p.m. every Thursday, and will have 2 hours to claim their tickets.
Each winner can purchase up to two $10 tickets — perfect for bringing a friend (or your theatre-obsessed sibling).
Need-to-Know Rules:
• Must be 18+ with valid photo ID.
• One entry per person. No bots, no burner emails — just your honest shot.
• Tickets are non-transferable and must be picked up at the National Arts Centre “Will Call” starting 2 hours before the show.
• And yes, reselling = voided ticket. Don’t be that person.
So if you’ve dreamed of seeing HAMILTON live without emptying your wallet, this is your cue. The lottery repeats weekly for each upcoming performance week, so if you don’t win the first round — try again next Friday! — Don’t throw away your shot, Ottawa!
