With the closures of museums and galleries over the past 18 months, we’ve been missing that feeling of experiencing beautiful art in person. Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience opens in Ottawa today and is sure to excite and re-awaken your art-loving soul.

Hosted at Lansdowne Park’s Aberdeen Pavilion, the innovative, colourful showcase is a modern, 3D display of historic artist Vincent Van Gogh’s most iconic paintings. Once you step into the Pavilion, you are immediately immersed into Van Gogh’s eccentric, brilliant and colourful mind. This is a fully 360 degree experience with massive, moving adaptations of Van Gogh’s paintings like “Starry Night” and “Sunflowers” projected on both the floor and walls creating an experience unlike any other.

Produced by some of the most imaginative and creative audiovisual designers in the world, this is truly an exhibit for the current times. You are spread out from others, the space is large, clean and airy and there are no buttons or surfaces that need to be touched like a traditional gallery or museum. So don’t miss out on what is sure to be one of the hottest tickets of the summer season!
