Here We Go Again, A Company of Fools is back with their favourite fundraiser, a Mamma Mia sing-along to brighten the chilly season.
It's been three years since the last time A Company of Fools re-created the sunny Grecian island, Kalokairi, through the power of Foolish magic and Mamma Mia on DVD.
Guests will let loose and give in to the joy of belting out all their favourite ABBA songs and re-visiting the iconic, classic movie musical. Dance the day away in your best-sequined costume while ignoring all aspects of reality.
Voulez Vous bring your friends along for the fun where everyone is a Dancing Queen! The Fools will award prizes for ‘best-dressed’ and ‘best spirit,’ so have your sequins ready and come dressed to impress in 70s ABBA couture.
On top of the euphoria of it all, you will be singing for a good cause. A Company of Fools, Ottawa’s favourite Shakespeare-in-the-park tour that brings a professional production of one of Shakespeare’s greatest hits to 40 parks across Ottawa, is hosting this event to fundraise for their new Fall school tour.
This Fall, the Fools will bring their summer Shakespeare extravaganza to ten high schools across the capital. Students studying Shakespeare in their English and drama classes will be gifted the opportunity to see Shakespeare as it was intended, live, instead of just reading off the pages.
While singing your heart out to ABBA’s greatest hits and cheering for Meryl Streep on the big screen, you will contribute to arts-based educational experiences for Ottawa youth!
