unnamed-2About the NORAD Tracks Santa® program

The NORAD Tracks Santa® program had its beginning on December 24, 1955, when a young boy accidentally dialed a wrong number, which was unlisted, belonging to The Continental Air Defense Command (CONAD) Ops Center in Colorado Springs, CO. The phone number was an advertisement misprint from a local business

the boy was trying to call. The operations center director swiftly realized the error that occurred and promptly advised the boy that NORAD would ensure a safe journey from the North Pole for Santa. In 1958, this new tradition was adopted by NORAD, a United States and Canada bi-national organization charged with the mission of aerospace warning, aerospace control and maritime warning in the defense of North America.

The program is traditionally known for reporting Santa Clause’s whereabouts on Christmas Eve, but has evolved to provide entertainment and information for kids and their parents. Today, the official NORAD Tracks Santa ® website ( is available in eight languages, includes 2D/3D training maps, Santa Camera videos, a countdown calendar and, of course, games.

NEWSLINE360™ content marketing platform is the innovation of a group ofnewsline360-logo-FINAL_300  experienced media, public relations and technology professionals who believe there is an easier, better way for businesses and journalists to connect and communicate.

NEWSLINE360™ gives businesses an affordable content marketing system through which they can create and maintain a content-rich online newsroom providing journalists with access to current information and the contacts they need for their stories.

Unlike other newsrooms which are passive (that is, you must know of the business to find its news), content posted in newsrooms using the NEWSLINE360™ platform is active (it is followable and pushes newsroom content out to journalists and newsroom followers). Content is spidered by search engines to increase web visibility and it can be scheduled and posted directly from the newsroom to the business’ social media. Those who want to receive the news get immediate access to media rich content: press releases, articles, blog posts, high resolution photos, video and audio files, documents and the business’ social media feeds. NEWSLINE360 also provides businesses with a searchable events calendar.

By following newsrooms, journalists gain access to news in real time and are introduced to new sources. Customers, influencers and other key audiences can follow, receive and share news from any newsrooms of their interest. All content may be searched and journalists may subscribe at no-cost to the NEWSLINE360™ Media Desk platform where they can set up private, individual or group queries to receive pertinent news, research information, and directly connect with news sources.

NEWSLINE360™ is compatible with mobile devices and is scalable.
