Canadian Country Music Superstar Jason McCoy headlines the Denim & Diamonds-themed party inside The Joint that will rock the house into 2023. Tickets are now on sale for $55 (plus taxes and fees) and can be purchased online today.
The Joint is the city’s hottest new destination for the best live entertainment experience located on the 2nd floor of the casino and includes VIP seating areas, a full stage, lighting, and a central 360-degree bar. On New Year’s Eve, McCoy will entertain the crowd in The Joint with his repertoire of well-known, award-winning country songs, including ‘Born Again in Dixieland’, ‘I Feel A Sin Comin on,’ and so many more.
Helen MacMillan, General Manager of Rideau Carleton Casino, Future Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa, and a lifelong country music fan, discussed how excited she was to bring such a successful Canadian Country music legend to the casino for New Year’s Eve.
“I can’t think of a better way to wrap up a successful 2022 and ring in 2023 than to bring a Canadian music legend of Jason McCoy’s caliber to The Joint, our live entertainment venue that we are so proud of. The evening promises to offer something for everyone, and it’s going to be the best party in all of Ottawa on December 31st, and we hope to see everybody there!”
McCoy hit the airwaves with the release of his debut album in 1989 and has been consistently releasing crowd-pleasing music ever since as a solo artist, as well as a member of The Road Hammers. McCoy was the Male Vocalist of the Year at the Canadian Country Music Awards in 2001 and was awarded the Global Artist Award at the CMA Awards in 2006, among many other earned accolades during his long, legendary career in the spotlight.
When speaking on air with Tanaeya Taylor from Pure Country 94, Ottawa’s most popular country radio station, McCoy was looking forward to returning to Canada’s capital for a night of music and celebrations.
“I’ve been touring basically non-stop with The Road Hammers recently, but every now and then I get to break away and play a Jason McCoy show. If you’re a Jason McCoy fan, I can’t wait to have you. If you’re a Road Hammers fan, we’ll do some Hammer songs for you. But it’s really about being a music fan and if you want to have a great time on New Year’s Eve!”
A DJ will get the Denim & Diamonds Party started in The Joint before McCoy hits the stage later in the evening. Ticket holders for the Denims & Diamonds Party will also have the chance to walk away with a diamond ring during a live draw that will happen before the show starts.*

For every $20 wagered at the casino between December 1 to 31st, Rock Star Reward members can start earning ballots to win the ULTIMATE FOOTBALL PRIZE. Two winners (one general draw, and one for VIP members) will receive a pair of tickets to the big game in Arizona this February, as well as $2,500 cash for travel expenses, with the draw happening at 1:15 am on January 1st. Prize packages each valued at over $25,000.
Guests can also earn a ballot to win $2,023 in cash that will be given away just after midnight on January 1st.
