
The Spotlight Returns: Broadway Across Canada Unveils 2025–2026 Ottawa Lineup
While hopping on a plane to New York City to catch a Broadway show might be a bit ambitious these days, there’s great news for Ottawa residents: Broadway Across Canada is returning to the National Arts Centre for the 2025–2026 season. The North American touring theatre company will bring five acclaimed Broadway productions to the capital, giving local audiences a taste of world-class theatre—no passport or security checks required!
Last season featured a diverse lineup, including Six, a musical about the ill-fated wives of Henry VIII; a dazzling stage adaptation of Frozen; and MJ: The Musical, which Ottawa Life Magazine film reviewer Keith Whittier described as “outstanding with an infectious spirit.” The variety of productions offered something for everyone—from families seeking a special outing to couples of all ages looking for an elevated date-night experience.

November 4–9, 2025
The beloved Scottish nanny arrives in Ottawa in this internationally acclaimed musical based on the hit film. With heart, humour, and high energy, Mrs. Doubtfire tells the story of an out-of-work actor who goes to hilarious lengths for his children.

Clue
January 6–11, 2026
A murder mystery comedy based on the classic film and board game, Clue brings suspense and laughs to the stage as six guests try to solve a whodunit in Boddy Manor.

& Juliet
March 24–29, 2026

Moulin Rouge! The Musical
May 12–17, 2026
