RBC Bluesfest

The incredible RBC Bluesfest returns to Ottawa with headliners that include Shania Twain, Weezer, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Death Cab for Cutie, Foo Fighters, Mumford & Sons, Charlotte Cardin, Pitbull and The Smile. Multi-day passes, and single-event tickets are still available for some shows.


The Mysteries of the Keyhole House

Based on a true story of the once dilapidated historic home they now happily share with spirits of yesteryear, which they lovingly call the Keyhole House, Ted and Marion Outerbridge are touring a new show, Mysteries of the Keyhole House. After its run in Smiths Falls, the illusionists will perform in Perth, Carleton Place, and Gananoque.

A Company of Fools

Ottawa’s longest-running Shakespeare company is bringing its version of Hamlet to a park near you. Join the Fools this summer as they delve into the depths of the human experience and have a few laughs along the way. Whether you’re a Shakespeare nerd or this is your first foray with the Bard since high school, their Foolish take on Hamlet has something for everyone.

Every July, Music and Beyond presents two weeks full of concerts in venues across the National Capital featuring orchestras, wind ensembles, choirs, bands and individual performers. Each show is linked to art, drama, poetry, science, and even acrobatics, in an effort to make classical music accessible to all.

Chris Borris started performing stand-up comedy in 2013.  A few years in, he won the first-ever Alterna Crackup Comedy Competition, and since then has worked with some of the best comics in the business.  These include Gilbert Gottfried, Mike Ward and Derek Seguin, to name a few. Melanie from Facebook described Chris as “Sorta the best, lol”.


Canada vs. New Zealand – Pacific Four Rugby Series

The Pacific Four Rugby Series is an exciting opportunity to witness the world’s best women’s rugby teams.  The tournament is the first major women’s rugby tournament held in the city in eight years. This Saturday, the Canadian women take on the number one team, New Zealand, and on July 14th they play Australia.
