Celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III at Rideau Hall

Everyone is invited to take part in free activities at Rideau Hall this weekend to celebrate the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III. Tour the residence, the grounds and the greenhouses; listen to musical performances by members of the Central Band of the Canadian Armed Forces; watch the Governor General’s Foot Guards perform the Relief of the Sentries (every hour, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.); and learn more about the role and history of the Crown in Canada.

Being Studio’s Spring Pop-Up Shop

Since 2002, BEING Studio has provided a space for artists with developmental disabilities to create visual art pieces and creative writing. Through BEING, artists are given the tools, the space, and the proper support needed to create their art. The Spring Pop-Up Shop is a free event featuring art from over 50 local BEING Studio artists who offer paintings, prints, sweatshirts, tote bags, brooches, and more. Find something truly special just in time for Mother's Day!

Jane’s Walk 2023 Launch event

Janes Walk, the annual festival of free, community-led neighbourhood walks in honour of the late urban activist Jane Jacobs, is hosting its first-ever Jane’s Walk Festival Preview & Picnic. ORAPEX

In its 60th year, OPAPEX is the national show celebrating all things philatelic (stamps).  ORAPEX is one of only a few national-level stamp shows held annually in Canada and is part of the American Philatelic Society's "World Series of Philately."

CN Cycle for CHEO

The CN Cycle for CHEO is a fun, non-competitive cycling (70K, 35K, 15K) and walking (5K and 2K) event for people of all ages and abilities. Money raised through this event helps to fund programs and research for oncology patients and their families at CHEO.
