What to Wear on New Year’s Eve

Stand out on New Year’s Eve with sequins and sparkle! The holiday season is the perfect opportunity to try saturated jewel tones in red, green, and navy instead of the more traditional black or silver for an added unexpected, head-turning detail.

There was plenty of sparkle on the runway during Milan Fashion Week as the final walk for Dolce & Gabbana was a shimmering mix of silver and pink sequin dresses parading down the runway. From the Runway to the red carpet, sequins can really amp up an outfit.

When you want to add some razzle dazzle, insert a touch of sparkle to any plain ensemble; whether it’s an added sequin jacket, a sequin skirt or top.

Inject an edgy vibe with lustrous metallic separates or include delicate feather detailing, like Kate Spade’s feathered blazer for a majorly modern twist on holiday style.

We’ve spotted celebrities sparkling from head-to-toe and they help to show how a little extra shimmer can go a long way (see Gwyneth Paltrow’s sequin skirt!)

Put on the glitz and make a grand entrance to 2017.

How to Sparkle and Shine:

Don’t worry about overdoing it.

It’s not every day that you get to wear a glittering outfit, so make the most of the holiday trends and find a look that makes you feel special and gets you in the holiday spirit.
