Bio: Carlos Verde is a journalism student at Carleton University with a passion for sports, writing and travel. In addition to his writing with Ottawa Life Magazine, he hosts a sports-talk show on 93.1 CKCU FM and works in sports communications. Carlos is excited for the opportunity to go 'beyond the boxscore' in the coverage of his hometown teams.
