After their summer hiatus, Ottawa Swing Dance Society’s Friday night social dancing is back.

Swing dancing is fun, easy to start, and a great way to meet people, and the best part is that the Friday night social dancing requires no partner or experience. The goal isn’t to be good, just to enjoy yourself and feel comfortable on the floor!

WHAT TO EXPECT
First time? The evening starts with an hour-long beginner lesson, perfect for those who haven’t danced before. After the lesson, stick around for social dancing! Lindy hop is a social dance, which means they emphasize meeting people and socializing. With 2.5 hours of DJed social dancing to follow, you’ll have plenty of time to show off your new moves and have a blast.
