Almonte once again becomes a gathering place for Indigenous art, music, food, and culture as Reconciliation Through Art returns with an expanded four‑day program to mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

From September 27 and October 2–4, visitors can experience traditional Métis dance, a lively Kitchen Party, an Indigenous Art & Artisan Showcase, hands‑on beadwork and quillwork workshops, teachings, storytelling, drumming, jingle dancing, and a Water Walk. The weekend concludes with a special screening of The Apology: A Search for Justice followed by a talkback with filmmaker Matt LeMay.

Most events are free and family‑friendly, with registration required for select workshops and the film screening.
